The production of a vintage Brut Rosé from here at Champagne Henriot is a rare occurrence. In fact, we only release a Millésime Rosé once every decade! This Champagne is a new encounter with the precise, virtuoso, and luminous Henriot style. The challenge for our House in creating this cuvée was to produce a Champagne Rosé that truly reflects our Chardonnay-driven style, while also portraying the unique prism of the outstanding vintage 2012 and remaining anchored to one of the fundamental principles of the House: the art of blending. Thus, this Champagne Rosé Millésime includes a relatively high proportion of Chardonnay, 45%, as well as a blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 12% still red wine. The grapes for this cuvée are all sourced from Premiers and Grands Crus vineyards, making the resulting champagne a multi-dimensional wine of extreme precision.
93 points, Alison Napjus, Wine Spectator – “An elegant rosé Champagne, layering flavors of ripe cherry, blood orange sorbet and orchard blossom on the delicate, finely detailed mousse, with lightly mouthwatering acidity and a zesty underpinning lending focus through to the lightly spiced finish”
