Blend: 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre
“Setier” was an ancient measure used for both grain and wine, in this case, the term specifically refers to a stone vessel that held 66 liters of wine. This small Côtes du Rhône Villages parcel is landed on a similar soil as our terroir in Chateauneuf, the most stony of the Château. The blend is vinified together and aged without oak, to express the fruit and elegance of this medium-bodied wine and its rich aromas of cherry, licorice and herbs. This wine has shown incredible complexity in the bottle already and will continue to show the balance of intense red fruits and silky tannins for years to come.
