After your order arrives in our warehouse, we will notify you when it is available to be shipped. We suggest holding shipments over the mid-summer and mid-winter months to avoid potential damage to the wine due to extreme temperatures en route. We are always happy to hold orders due to weather concerns in our temperature-controlled warehouse at no cost.

Expedited shipping options are available. If you wish to discuss them, alternatives for international destinations, or anything else shipping-related, feel free to contact us via email at [email protected] or by phone at (434) 218-2120.
Ownership of all wine passes from VinConnect to the purchaser in the District of Columbia and the purchaser is responsible for shipping it to his/her home state or picking it up at our warehouse. Purchaser warrants that they are solely responsible for the transport of the purchased product and for determining the legality, tax, duty and any other consequences of bringing product to their state. If requested VinConnect will arrange for transportation of the wine via common carrier; in doing so VinConnect is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of, the purchaser, who will be billed for such service. By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with all applicable state and local laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine, including: obtaining any required permission, paying any required fees, legally taking possession of wine (and in the quantities ordered) and authorizing that he/she is at least 21 years of age.
We are obligated to collect taxes on your orders if we are shipping to the following states: DC, ND, NH, and VA.
Federal and state regulations (and their enforcement) concerning direct-to-consumer shipments of wine are very complex and ever-evolving, requiring our policies to adapt in response, often without notice. The foregoing are current as of 1/1/21.
